The time is gone, the song is over

Thought I’d something more to say.

Time, Pink Floyd

I’m an artist, to create is what I do. Art is a very defining feature about myself, because it can lead to many interesting conversations, and its a very strong passion. My identity as a queer woman can be seen through some of my art pieces, but I also love to create things that aren’t ‘deep’ or very ‘meaningful’. I like to have fun with my art, because it is something that should be joyful and stress relieving to me. I am not a super social person, so art is a great outlet for me.

I have lived in Asheville for 7 years, I am the oldest child of my family, and I am a huge homebody. My family is a huge piece of my life, and I feel the need to stay very close to them for as long as possible. I love huge cities and one day hope I can move to one, but for the mean time I am glued to Asheville.

Some fun facts about me are: I lived in Costa Rica for 7 years, my father is an artist and a huge inspiration for me, I love old rock, and I have 2 dogs, Rosita and Chloe. (Pictures of Chloe provided!)

Another huge part of myself is cinema. I adore movies. I will binge watch movies of any genre just so that I can experience what others have worked extremely hard on. I work at a movie theater because it is as close as I can currently get. One job that I dream about having is working in costume design and production for movies and theater performances. Costume design combines some of my greatest passions. Some of my favorite movies from a personal enjoyment point of view are Pink Floyd’s The Wall, The Batman (2022), Prisoners, Midsommar, and Swiss Army Man.
