‘Burnout’ is a physical sculpture meant to become photography. It reflects how it feels to be an artist struggling with art block and artistic burnout. The candle placed to align with the skeleton of the sculpture imitates one’s soul burning, while surrounded by stars and words of inspiration. But while they have all that, there is still a mental agony that is derived from lacking the ability to create that can be inferred from the pose the sculpture is in.
