“Dress My Wounds” is a piece involving more of my identity than anything else. With two women, one of them holding the heart of the other in her hand, this piece represents the complications and confusions of a queer relationship. The heart out of the second woman’s chest shows how her heart is being taken from her to show how draining this love can be, but with the arrow piercing her mind, she can’t get away from this ultimately not healthy relationship.
