“Time” is one of my own characters. She is tied into the story of my own characters and she represents the passing of time. As one of my earlier pieces, I had a whole series planned around this painting, but only some came to fruition. In my story, time is the narrator, because she deals with the woven stories of my other characters without being seen by them, but she affects them. While all the characters die sacrificial deaths, “Time” longs for the chance but must face the fact that she will never get the ability to experience what the others have experienced.
